By accessing or using SriLankanism, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

You can browse the dictionary without an account, but you need one to manage submissions. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity that happens under your account. Please provide accurate information when signing up.

SriLankanism is a community dictionary, and the words, definitions, and examples come from people like you. When you submit content, you confirm that you have the right to share it and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, store, and distribute it as part of the dictionary.

You agree not to submit content that:

• infringes someone else’s intellectual property or privacy;
• is hateful, harassing, or targets people or groups with abuse;
• is deliberately false, misleading, or spam; or
• violates any applicable law.

New submissions enter a review queue and appear publicly only after approval. We may edit, reject, or remove any contribution at our discretion to keep the dictionary accurate and respectful. Mature content may be labelled accordingly.

You agree not to misuse the site — including attempting to disrupt it, scrape it at scale, gain unauthorized access, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

The SriLankanism name, branding, and the design of the site are owned by us. Dictionary entries are contributed by the community and made available for the public to read and learn from. Please don’t reproduce the site’s branding or design without permission.

SriLankanism is provided “as is” and is intended for cultural and entertainment purposes. Definitions reflect community submissions and may be informal, regional, or inaccurate. We do not guarantee that the site will be available, error-free, or that any entry is correct.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SriLankanism and its maintainers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
